Secure Storage in the UK
Nomad’s UK head office is ideally suited to the secure storage of your furniture and personal effects. Inspected by the BAR, and utilised by global logistics firm DSV as a critical hub, the warehouse can store any volume of goods for any length of time. We can also store cars, boats, bathroom fittings, sheds and anything else that our customers choose to send to and from Greece and Italy.
Our Peterborough warehouse offers containerized storage using industry-standard wooden containers which are ideal for storing furniture. We also have available a range of other storage options on site and we can work with our customers to their requirements. Self-storage, where the goods can be accessed independently by the customer, is unfortunately not available for warehouse safety reasons. But we can work with our customers to help them with their specific needs (for example storing the consignments in sections if some goods are likely to be required before others). Please don’t hesitate to ask us for help.
Secure Storage in Greece
In Patra and the island of Crete we also have storage facilities available, which is a great help when storage is required for a short period as part of a household removal. We also have access to commercial storage facilities in Athens, in case short-term storage is required as part of your relocation to or from Greece.
Free Storage
Moving overseas can be tricky enough without trying to time everything perfectly to move straight out of one home and into the other, just to avoid storage fees! We always include two weeks’ free storage for all of our customers moving to Greece and Italy (or from Greece and Italy), just to make life easier. This allows us to always book our customers onto the next available vehicle without having to worry about storage charges in the interim period.
