“I’d just like to express our sincere thanks to all the people at NOMAD International who helped us with our recent move to Crete in October 2021. Having bought our house in Lasithi in the period immediately before Covid lockdowns and widespread restrictions, we were still unsure about organising a full-scale removal until Summer 2021. That’s when we contacted NOMAD and we were very appreciative of the information given to us about what our move might entail. We received a very good overview from NOMAD regarding the paperwork and customs/insurance admin and so were able to finalise the date to move to Crete, planned while we were back in UK.
Dan at NOMAD was very supportive and dealt with all sorts of queries in quite difficult circumstances. We were very pleased with the communication regarding the collection of our household items in late September. The removal team (2 x Ian and Charlie) from Peterborough was very efficient and reassuring about our treasured possessions! We were able to plan our return to Crete to prepare for the delivery and we were kept well-informed of progress and delivery dates. Spiros and Mark were very efficient and helpful on the day. Everything was in absolutely perfect condition and, understandably, we are extremely happy to recommend NOMAD to anyone who is planning a move to Crete. Thank you all once again!”
